A Courageous Heart
We are living in a time of tremendous uncertainty and change.
In fact, time is uncertainty and change.
Fortunately, there are timeless approaches to living which bolster us with meaning, purpose, direction, and most of all: hope.
Not a false or bypassing optimism, not wishful thinking, and not an intense desire for some specific future objects or conditions.
Rather, wise hope, a hope which acknowledges the certainty of change and the uncertainty of what that change will look like, and yet holds us in a timeless embrace in which we feel and know that we are okay, that what we do matters, that we can make a difference, and that "life goes on".
We are not talking about eliminating fear. Fear is useful - important even.
We are talking about breaking free from being confined and immobilized by our fear.
We are talking about developing the capacity to turn our fear into a force for good.
This is what it means to live with a courageous heart.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
In this weekly course, we will explore contemplative practices to develop resilience and courage, and to unlock our potentials to engage constructively for the benefit of our families, communities, and our world.
We will do this through group discussion, reading, contemplation, micro-meditations, dyadic processing, and exercises to challenge and expand our capacities.
The group is a safe space.
No one is required to speak.
Everyone is given space to share.
Above all, everyone is welcomed and respected.
